Our philosophy is simple - life is for living. This is why our name is Peaking!
Peaking on Sydney Harbour (Peaking) provides the ultimate in small group, day-tours on Sydney Harbour. Based in Manly, our affordable experiences are uniquely designed for down-to-earth, environmentally aware, yet ‘out for a great time’ experience seekers. We offer year round standard packages as well as tailor-made group encounters for specific and special occasions.
Peaking is privately owned and managed by a dedicated family of professionals, who between them have extensive experience in sailing and water sports as well as tourism operations and marketing. Peaking was born shortly after one of the family members received a double-lung transplant in 2004 – and as a unit, they learnt that life is too short not to do anything else but the things you love.

- We offer more than just 'sailing'-although offered on a cruising yacht, our mostly* fully-inclusive experience packages are designed to offer the best 'overall Harbour experience'. We realize that not everyone wishes to learn how to sail but most people would only dream to be aboard a beautiful boat on the Harbour. Our goal is to make that happen.
- We're dedicated to affordability, accessibility, environmental and community sustainability and offering only the most memorable overall experience EVER on Sydney Harbour.
- Our packages are uniquely tailored for you! Regardless of your age or purpose, each package inclusion (food, music, crew, harbour locations, sailing intensity etc) is specifically tailored to meet the needs of each specific group.
- We are one of the only small group 'day-tour' options on Sydney Harbour.
- We are one of the first day-tour businesses on Sydney Harbour with an explicit commitment to eco-tourism principles and sustainability.
- Our commitment to the overall experience means that our fully trained crew are more like 'tour guides', 'educators' and 'entertainers'.

Our Crew!
Our crew and staff are the lifeblood of our business. They are responsible for ensuring all our guests 'live in the moment' and 'peak' during each moment of their experience with us, and they are trained to do so.
As a minimum, each crew member is an experienced sailor and has a current Coxswain Certificate of Competency issued by NSW Maritime. As sailing can be a risky activity, each of our crew members also undertakes a specially designed internal training course focusing on all aspects of safety and environmental respect as well as everything they need to know about being the ultimate Sydney Harbour Tour Guide.

Our Boat
All Peaking's experiences are conducted aboard Peking-a 10.5m Fiberglass Jarkan (www.jarkan.com.au) Yacht, built in 1986. In NSW Survey for self-hire and drive and charter operations, its comprehensive onboard features include:
- Facilities for up to 12 crew.
- Berth's (beds) for up to 7 people across two cabins at back, front and the main cabin.
- Well equipped galley with large icebox, gas stove, crockery and cutlery for 12 people, cooking utensils, pots/pans and tea/coffee making facilities.
- Private bathroom with hot water.
- Gas BBQ.
- Two Large on deck ice boxes.
- CD/Stereo (MP3 compatible) with internal and external speakers.
- Beach /Tea Towels.
- On deck shower.
- Full safety inventory.
- Avon tender with oars.
Really, all you need to bring are your personal effects, food and drinks (if not provided by Peaking) and linen (if staying overnight).
